I am so exhausted. I don’t think I sat down for more than like ten minutes for the entire weekend. On friday I had class till 2 and then Cafe Ole till 10pm. I helped do two hours of dishes for that thing. I then worked on Saturday from 9am to 4pm and then back to Cafe Ole from 4:30 to 10pm. I slept forever on Sunday and got nine hours of sleep last night but I still haven’t caught up. I feel a little old.

Cafe Ole was…interesting. All the people were really nice and me and Christy got to work together. Saturday night Kenya came and helped, which was fun. He was the only guy working on Saturday and Peanut was the only guy on friday. The decorations looked really nice and everything went really smoothly. On saturday she let us take home the wine bottles we used to serve water.

I guess I should tell you what Cafe Ole is..

Cafe Ole is a fundraiser that Dr. White used to hold twice a year with her international club. There is no more international club, but my intensive spanish class and the intensive french class talked her into doing one this year. It is a two night restaurant that me and my classmates waitressed at. We made most of the food, set all the tables (Fancy!) and decorated. The guests had to reserve seats ahead of time and pay fifteen dollars for the meal. I don’t think that’s too bad, considering they got chips and dip, soup, chicken fetachini, dessert, bread, coffee, juice, water, and mints.  Each food stood for a certain country, such as the Dark Irish Bread, which stood for Ireland and the soup from France. We decorated with white, black, and red and we all wore black. Pretty sharp! All the money went towards the Mexico Mission Trip my school has every year (we helped pay for Kenya to go) and the Invisible Children. Invisible Children is a…group that works towards stopping the kidnapping and war recruiting of children in Africa. I suggest that anyone look into it, because it’s a really neat group and what is happening to those kids in Africa is terrible.

Here are some pics from Cafe Ole…
