Movies

So, I can’t stop thinking about the twilight movie which will be out soon! I was just messing around on the internet earlier and came across the story behind twilight (http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/twilight.html). I just thought that it was neat and reminded me of the fact that no one succeeds on their own, they are always assisted by others in society. This was our discussion in my sociology class the other day. It is cool that Stephanie Meyer realizes this and mentions the many breaks she was given during her publishing adventure.

The soundtrack is out now but I am too afraid to listen to it. I don’t want to completely ruin the movie.

Not only does Breaking Dawn come out in two weeks but a new teaser trailer came out for the movie! Hurray! I am so excited about the book. I hope that Bella and Edward get married and she gets turned into a vampire and it has a happy ending. Otherwise, I will probably just be angry. Anyways, here is the new teaser trailer.

The other day i rented Cloverfield with the gift card kyta and jw got me. I love that movie! I also watched Meet Joe Black with DB but it was just really weird.

Today I drove for fifteen minutes with my e break on and by the time I got home I had no breaks whatsoever. KC fixed me though. Yah.

I also found out that this girl I use to work with has been doing drugs, got kicked out of her house, her boyfriend ODed and she had to call the ambulance, and is pretty much anorexic. I really liked her, she’s really cute and mysterious (one of those girls I wanted to spend the day in the life of in one of my earlier posts). It’s really sad what some people turn out to do and be.

This is for the girl I worked with. I hope she can be happy one day.

So, I have been doing some serious movie watching which led me to discover some awesome movies. Let’s see, I have delightfully discovered…

-Little Miss Sunshine

-Wristcutters

-Almost Famous

I watched a few more but these are my favorites. Wristcutters is probably one of my all time favorite movies now. I really liked Almost Famous because it was really different from any movies I had seen and brought out a lot of the problems within the seventies and eighties and the feelings and outlooks brought on by those problems. And then, Little Miss Sunshine was just adorable. Anyways…

I have been having a hard time lately because I keep expecting KC to do certain things and act a certain way and he isn’t acting or doing those things. I get so mad because he doesn’t do exactly as I think he should, and then I always regret it because he does so much for me that I don’t appreciate. I think that I am really putting some stress on the relationship and need to quit taking out all my anger and fusteration on him. What do I take it out on then?

So, I just finished watching The Green Mile. Talk about a sad sad movie. It doesn’t even come equipped with a happy ending. I cried a couple times..for sure. Anyways, that was probably one the of the best movies I have ever seen. Here is a list of my top ten favorite movies (for now at least)…

10. 28 Days Later

9. Fly Away Home

8. The Girl Next Door

7.  Save the Last Dance

6. The Green Mile

5. Ever After

4. Braveheart

3. V forVendetta

2. Moulin Rouge

1. Garden State

Yep, Garden State tops ‘em all. Natalie Portman is my favorite actress. I also love her performance in V for Vendetta. In english yesterday we had to sign the role, and with it, say what genre of movie our lives would be and who would perform in it. I definitely chose her, but I couldn’t remember her name at the time. I’m not a huge Zach Braff fan, but he does a pretty good job in that movie. The story line is so creative, and yet, it resembles the lives of so many regular people. I guess that depends on what you consider regular.

I mainly like Moulin Rouge for the passion, which is about the same for most of the others. I have tried a million times to watch Save the Last Dance for the last couple of weeks but I can’t get ahold of it, and I don’t have money to go rent it.

Today KC said he was seriously considering getting me a lime green truck that is for sale in Murphy. At first I was like “ewww” because I hate the color lime green, but then I started thinking about it and it just might fit. Really I am just going to go with whatever he says because A) I don’t know anything about cars except how to change a tire and check the oil, and B) he is paying for the majority of it. Last night I was coming home from work and I had to take a turn onto a different road because there a road block RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE! Urgh. I just went and hung out with some friends who I had planned on hanging out with that night anyways and waited till about two in the morning to drive home. Since my car is getting repossessed, I was afraid that the insurance wasn’t good anymore and didn’t want to get a ticket if it wasn’t, so…I just thought I would throw that in there.
